So far i never encountered any problems with the Black Cat Band. It was a normal attack from him, and I didn't think I was burning but idk. Definitely need to test it to see though. I did die like 3 times with it on and all 3 times I had like half hp or so, so it may be bugged or I may have been unlucky - I tend to be extremely unlucky.
