The original Racing versions that were released a few years back had KYB twin chamber forks partnered with a firmer spec ZF shock. Not anymore. The 2023 Beta RR300 Racing sees a KYB shock added to the parts list and it's a very welcome addition in my eyes. Don't get me wrong, the ZF shock did hold its own to a certain point but it wasn't.

This year all the Betas have new radiator shrouds that are a little narrower and sleeker. The Race Edition is $10,399 whereas the standard Beta 300RR sells for $9899. The motor is otherwise the same as the standard RR. The big deal for us is the 36mm Keihin PWK carburetor. It feeds a motor with a physically adjustable power valve.

All the Beta 300's are good to ride slow and fast. It's pick what you like. I've come close to buying an xtrainer and also a 300 RX. I have a 300 rr. It's great for putting around and racing and hard enduro. The 300 race edition can be great too for trail riding and racing or whatever kinds of racing.
